On Wednesday, October 21, Local Gas is turning a trip to the pump into an opportunity to help people and families struck with breast cancer.
Local Gas will host Gallons for Good, a company-wide fundraiser benefiting the Breast Care Center at the Mohawk Valley Health System’s Faxton Campus in Utica. Throughout the day, 5¢ from every gallon sold at participating Local Gas locations will be donated to the Breast Care Center, helping support breast care services right here in our community.
Main Event Headquarters: Local Gas Schuyler
The headquarters for Gallons for Good will be Local Gas Schuyler, 105 Drive-In Rd., Frankfort, NY 13340.
Schuyler will be the center of the day’s festivities, bringing together the fundraiser, special food offerings and breast cancer awareness activities. Customers are encouraged to stop by, fuel up, grab something to eat and help us support people and families in our community who have been struck with breast cancer.
Throughout the event, watch for Gallons for Good signage, breast cancer awareness displays, donation opportunities and special food and treats.
Fill Up & Help Local Families
The easiest way to participate is simply to fill your tank.
For Gallons for Good, Local Gas will donate 5¢ for every gallon sold during the event. Whether you stop at our main event in Schuyler or visit another participating Local Gas location, your fuel purchase will help contribute to the fundraiser.
All Local Gas locations will participate in the fuel donation portion of Gallons for Good. Locations without participating food specials will offer the fuel fundraiser only.
Every gallon adds up—and together, our customers and employees can help support people and families struck with breast cancer right here in our community.
